Our desire is simple: to love Christ, pursue His Word, and proclaim His message. We are a church family seeking to live faithfully together under the authority of Scripture and for the glory of God.
At The Cross Baptist Church, we want to see people come to know Jesus Christ, grow in His Word, and serve one another in love. We are committed to preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and reaching Wallisville and the surrounding Chambers County area with the hope of Christ.
Whether you have lived here your whole life or are new to the community, you are welcome here. Each week we gather to worship Christ together, and throughout the week we seek to serve our neighbors and point people to Him.
The Cross Baptist Church continues a long Gospel witness in Wallisville through the legacy of Eminence Baptist Church and, before that, Turtle Bay Baptist Church. For more than 132 years, churches in this community have faithfully proclaimed Jesus Christ as Creator, Savior, and Sustainer.
Our prayer is simple: that Christ would be honored and His name lifted high at The Cross Baptist Church.
